oreooo!

Hi!

Yes. This post on OREO CAKE. Did this Oreo cake to thank  one of my neighbour for the log cake that they got for my family for XMAS. :D

SO i took the chance to make this Oreo cake. I haven't had the chance to actually make one. Imagine having to finish the whole cake you baked just for experiment sake. I've been seeing SO MUCH, seriously SO MUCH cakes (I used much as it is not countable for the word 'many') that I kinda gag when I need to eat one. I just to crave for cakes and also look forward to a friend's or relative's birthday just so that I can have cake. But now, no more cravings. Zilch. So, I don't really try to bake or experiment on anything unless I have a valid reason for it.

Although I may be sick to eat cakes but I love the awesome feeling of baking and creating something all on my own!

ENOUGH TALKING! PICS PLSSSSSS

Not bad huh? I used moist chocolate cake recipe and layered with a filling of Italian Meringue folded with crumbs of Oreo biscuit. Covered and finished the cake off with the remaining Italian Meringue and sifted some grounded Oreo Biscuit Crumbs. I grounded it with the Pestle and Mortar.  Haha. OLD SCHOOL.

I tried the combination with the left over scrapes I had and it was LOVELY.

Hope you love it!

Xmas Order

Hi,

This is the next post on the Xmas order. Its an order for 17 Brandy Fruit Cakes. Those with children got a selection of 2 cupcakes. Chocolate cupcakes, Oreo Cupcakes with Red Velvet Cakepops. I was a honour and a great experience to fulfill and process this order.

It tested us on management skills and organization. But I still think we need for FOLDABLE TABLES to help to add space for the cakes. Can't possibly place them on the floor.

These are a few of the many Xmas Cakes in the order. As you can see the NameCard is out. YUP. FINALLY. I have a Name card.

The cakes were decorated with Royal Icing and Holly Leaves made out of Fondant. To make it seem like it has snow and has slightly melted. I did the candle wax effect.

Cool Huh. :)

This is what the top of the cake looks like. And I finished it off with some glitter whats Xmas without some glitter? :D

This past Xmas was extremely hard due to exams, assignments, studying and baking all in one time. Lacked quite as amount of sleep. You can see the result in my eyes now but its all worth it. I love the fun and the experience. I would also like the thank Uncle Gary and Auntie Bonnie for this experience.

I want to thank my family for helping me especially my beloved GRANDMA! MAMA thank you! although I know high chance you won't read this. :D Anyway LOVE YOU. She helping BIG BIG in the Cutting out, Baking and wrapping of the Gingerbreadman. :)

OH WELLS.

Till next post. Finally did an OREO cake. And guess what I am successful in making cheesecake. SO ELIMINATE ALL YOUR CHEESECAKE DOUBTS! Will be adding it to the Menu soon.

Cheerios!
